Winter is ugly when you don't take advantage of it to become your boyfriend. Looking at winter with another eye, it gives wings.

Winter + child=problem?
I don't like winter very much, especially since I have children. I find it really complicated to have to dress two children who balk and balk throughout the exercise and who, once outside, ask to come in for a thousand and one good reasons. They're cold, there's a lot of snow in their faces, the wind is too strong, they can't take a step without falling. I don't blame them too much, I think it's a lot of effort for toddlers their age. On the other hand, I persist in taking them out to play in the snow despite their reluctance. I want them to learn to love this snow! We can't help it, we live in Quebec so, we know from the cradle that there is snow in winter.
In general, children begin to appreciate winter, around the age of 4-5 years when going outside hardly rhymes with suffering anymore. They can now spend 30 minutes outside without suffering from frostbite because they are finally able – sometimes with difficulty – to move in the accumulated snow. They can share these moments of pure joy with friends in the neighborhood. Even better, you hardly have to go out with them anymore.when they want to go especially if the patio door opens onto the courtyard. We watch them out of the corner of our eyes and the matter is settled.
A matter of fun
When the fun begins to be known, that's when the joy of winter wins the parents. We can finally bring them with us on skis or snowboards. While they are taking their lesson, we, dear parents, can indulge in our favorite sport, which has been forgotten for too long, and happily descend the slopes with the sole concern of avoiding the patches of ice. No, but is it great enough to be able to spend family time in peace? It seems that the coaches are really good…
Enjoy joking. It's so interesting when we can finally integrate our children into our winter sports. Let's face it, it's still not easy to lug a 3-4 month old on snowshoes or skates. It works, but plan frequent stops and make sure your child doesn't get frostbite. It's so easy at that age. We move a lot and often the little one is on our back, so we sweat, we are hot. We quickly forget that he is motionless and facing the wind.

Organization…
So it's not always easy to find time to go out for some fresh air, but with a little organization you can do it. We exchange evenings with our spouse: "Tonight, I'm going to the ice rink" or we make agreements with Grandma: "We go out for a fewminutes to walk. And as soon as the temperature rises a little, bundle up your offspring and get some fresh air.
And motivation
Find great activities that will motivate you to go out and you will never see winter the same way again. Snow does not just mean traffic jams, difficulty finding parking, intensive shoveling, followed by intensive back pain. Snow also rhymes with the pleasure of having fun. Pleasure to climb mountains, to throw balls by the head, pleasure to roll there and to observe the sky so blue. Pleasure to spend time with family taking in the fresh air.
In Quebec, we are so well served by winter sports. Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, excursions, skating, snowboarding, and so on. There are so many beautiful corners of the country to visit in winter. You don't have to hide, it drives you crazy. On the scientific side, it's really good to be active in winter, especially when the blues are waiting for us. When we move, when we do physical activity, our body secretes endorphins, hormones responsible for good mood, well-being. Like what, the body is well organized to take care of itself, it is enough to start it.
Naughty Pleasure
Aside. Going outside gives us great reasons to concoct good hot chocolate. So, jump at the chance and raid the grocery store for some dark chocolate, which you will melt with a little sugar and mix with hot milk. Guaranteed success after an evening with your lover playingin the snow…
Happy winter!
