Heart frame

Heart-shaped crayons

Do you have lots of broken crayon pieces and you don't know what to do with them? Get some heart-shaped silicone candy molds, mix the pencil ends together to fill the molds and melt them in the oven at 300 F for about 5 minutes. Fill the mold again and repeat the process until the mold is well filled with melted wax. Let cool for 20 minutes at room temperature before chilling completely in the refrigerator for 2 hours. The result? Beautiful multicolored pencils in the shape of a heart that will delight children!

Cone Garland

A beautiful garland made of cones that can be filled with sweets and chocolates is perfect for Valentine's Day. To recreate this garland, you will need red and white paper, scissors, a white marker, gift string, wrapping paper, a hole punch, a ruler and a stapler.

Heart Garland by Martha Stewart

To make this heart garland, start with a 12 inch by 16 inch sheet of wax paper that you will fold in half lengthwise and then unfold. Sharpen your wax crayons andsprinkle the crumbs evenly over half of your waxed paper. Fold your paper in half again and bend the 3 corners to make sure the pencil crumbs stay in place. Cover your table with Kraft paper before placing your waxed paper on it, then finish with another sheet of Kraft paper. Set your iron to medium heat and iron gently until all the crumbs have melted. Leave to cool completely then cut out hearts of different sizes. All you have to do is hang them with a rope and you will have a pretty and super original garland of hearts!

Valentine's Day Card

To make this Valentine's Day card, you will need white cardboard folded to create an opening in the front. You will then need to draw your two heart halves and then apply glue stick on thesurface of the heart. Wrap red or pink yarn over each half of the heart. To finish, pierce the cardboard with a needle on both sides of the opening, tie the two halves together with yarn and then form a loop.
