Due to our often hectic lives, it's hard to stop for family time unless a special occasion like a birthday, Christmas, or Easter calls for it!

When was the last time you had family fun just because…? We often lack time! On weekends, there is cleaning, shopping, piano lessons, tennis, hockey for children! And on public holidays? It is not possible either since it is an opportunity to open or close the chalet, to clean the swimming pool, to do the earthwork or to clean the garage!
So at the end of the day, we end up being more roommates than family. Why not slow down and take the time to spend quality time together? It is constantly said that life passes too quickly, that children grow up visibly. Better take the time now before they have families too!
A few ideas
There are so many things you can do together. We can go on an outing, according to everyone's tastes. And if these tastes differ a lot, why not offer each member of the family, in turn, the care ofselect or submit three activity suggestions?
Keep in mind that these activities don't have to be expensive. It can be quite simply a walk in the forest followed by a picnic which will have been prepared by everyone at home. A drive through the countryside. A walk in town or in a park. During the summer, it is possible to go and listen to an outdoor show, or see a film. We can go apple shopping, to the museum, to the cinema, play sports, or stay home to watch a movie, cook with the family, play a board game… in short, you get the concept!
What is quality time?
Spending time together helps us get to know each other better. To discover in our children interests or subjects that fascinate them. It's taking the time to listen to them, it's giving yourself the time to watch them laugh and have fun. For them, it's the chance to see mom and dad in a context quite different from the slightly crazy everyday life. It is to see them when they are not in a hurry, not preoccupied with supper, cleaning, work. It's really about giving ourselves a gift and sharing it with the people who are dear to us.
Family Reunions
Family celebrations are also very important in the emotional development of children. The ritual and traditions attached to the celebrations are synonymous with comfort, stability and sharing within a family. It is what weaves and welds the bonds between people. It's a little breakin our daily routine where we know we will meet again. Family celebrations are special times when you find yourself in your element, in your core, among your loved ones.

It's with them that you feel totally at home, it feels like each member of the family is a piece of a puzzle and that when we all come together together, the puzzle is complete! It's happiness and an inexplicable sense of well-being!
Every celebration should be a moment we look forward to. Whether it's Christmas, a birthday, Easter, Thanksgiving or any other important holiday in our culture, the important thing is to make this celebration something unique and in the image of your family.. That doesn't mean spending a fortune and racking your brains for months. For example, the ritual of making the Christmas tree together while listening to carols and drinking hot chocolate! Or meet at Easter, Mother's Day or even Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day to have a community meal where each person brings their favorite dish. It is not the cost and size of the celebration that is important, but rather the simple fact of getting together once in a while.
In addition, by instilling the importance of family gatherings and celebrations in your children, you ensure that they will do the same when they are adults.
Papapourlavie.com therefore takes this opportunity to wish you beautiful moments infamily!
