Forget Anne-Marie, Marie-Claude, Jean-François; the compound first names in Quebec have changed over the years. A look at the rising trends of the past five years, for both boys and girls.

By comparing the 2010-2015 data from Retraite Québec's First name bank, which compiles all the first names given to newborns, here are the ten compound first names most vogue.
Lily-Rose
Here is a first name, with Léa-Rose, which has been a favorite of parents for several years. It ranks 64e among the most popular first names among girls in 2015. In addition, it is the first female compound name on the bank's list. Note that in France, in 2016, Lily-Rose is also the number one choice for compound first names (according to the Naissance.fr website).
Charles-Olivier
There are more and more little Charles-Oliviers in Quebec: indeed, this first name has been on trend for the past five years. It rose from the 127e position in 2014 to the 111e a year later. It is the most popular male compound first name in Quebec. Charles-Antoine follows closely, while thefirst name Charles has become increasingly popular over the past five years (it was ranked 23e in 2010 compared to 16eplace in 2015).
Emma-Rose
For two years, this compound first name has been a favorite of parents in Quebec: it has gone from 248e to 152 e between 2010 and 2015! The names Emma and Rose are also becoming increasingly popular.
Charles-Edouard
Along with Charles-Olivier and Charles-Antoine, Charles-Edouard is a popular compound name. Since 2010, it has remained in the top 10 of the most often chosen male compound names. Edouard is also well liked: he is the 20e most popular male given name.
Charlie-Rose
After Lily-Rose and Emma-Rose, here is another first name composed of "Rose" which is gaining more and more the hearts of parents: ranked 319e in 2010, Charlie-Rose now ranks 218e rank. The name Charlie has been losing ground for a few years… among girls! Among boys, it is on the rise.
Félix-Antoine
Even if he is slightly losing momentum, Félix-Antoine remains an essential first name given to little boys: he ranks 201e among the most popular male first names in 2015. The small Félix and the mini Antoine have been fewer in number for five years, even though both remain popular first names.
Emy-Jade
Only sixlittle girls received this first name in 2010; in 2015, that number nearly quadrupled to 23, making Emy-Jade a rising name (from 848e in 2010 to 254eat the last census!). Emy and Emmy are less popular in 2015 than in 2010; on the other hand, the feminine name Jade is stable and remains very popular.
Louis-Philippe
Timeless first name, very popular in the 1970s and 1980s, Louis-Philippe remains one of the most popular male compound names of the last five years: it is at 228eposition of the list in 2015. Louis is more often chosen these last two years than in 2010 while Philippe is less and less 'elected by parents.
Sarah-Maude
In the top of female compound first names in recent years, Sarah-Maude has been falling slightly for five years. The first name Marie-Maude, like that of Maude and Sarah, is also on the decline.
Marc-Olivier
Here is a well-known first name, often chosen by parents, even if its popularity has been slightly decreasing for a few years. If the first name Marc was extremely popular between the 1950s and 1980s, it has lost its feathers in recent years. Olivier, meanwhile, is stable: he is very popular in Quebec (11e rank in 2015).
