The Montreal Maternity and Childhood Fair begins this Thursday, April 5, in Montreal. Having exhibited at this show for more than 10 years, Mamanpourlavie.com shares its must-haves for new or future families!

Fashion
This event, like parenting in general, is constantly evolving! The exhibitors are renewed from year to year and the novelties are always found there. From Lait de Poule and its superb breastfeeding clothes, to Little Yogi and its grow-with-me pants.
Baby must-haves
When you are expecting your first child, a trip to the Maternity and Paternity and Children Fair is a prenatal course in itself. You may not learn breathing techniques for childbirth, but you quickly understand everything a baby asks for and especially everything that is offered for him. Then we pull ourselves together, go home and decide (according to our values) what will be best for our new family.
Food
A whole section of the show is dedicated to food-related exhibitors. Not onlyfood has a great impact on everyone's he alth, but it is also the most progressive period when you have children. From milk to purees and/or DME according to your choices, there are several products and answers to our questions.
Tips
Constant periods of questioning that are pregnancy and motherhood, the salon is full of experts in various fields. From Medela, breastfeeding expert and the various possible breast pumps, to Adorable who guides us in natural products (and which offers a conference, see schedule here), it's the chance to talk, in person, to experts and ask your questions. The quieter periods of the show, such as evenings, leave room for very enriching exchanges if you take the time.
Pampering for the whole family
We won't lie to each other, going to the Maternity Paternity and Children Fair without a predefined budget can be dangerous. Too “cute” bibs, trendy teething necklaces, tuques with pompoms, products that smell of the sky, etc. Prepare yourselves ! You will have been warned!
US
Mamanpourlavie.com is always located at the entrance of the show and if you knew how happy it is to meet you! We follow you every day, behind our computer screens, but an event like this gives us the opportunity to talk with our loyal readers, hear your stories, see your children or your bellies and we love it! Additionally, ourbookazine (released last year) is no longer available on newsstands but we have kept a limited quantity for you this year! Come see us!
The Maternity and Childhood Fair of Montreal takes place from April 5 to 8 at Place Bonaventure. For more information on the schedule and exhibitors, see their site here.
