As many children's parties will be held at home this summer, I thought I'd inspire you with our cute popsicle-shaped party cake. It will be perfect for creating a 100% summer and super festive theme!

Materials needed

  • To create our popsicle, you will need a delicious cake in a large rectangular pan. If you are looking for a recipe, I have the best Vanilla Cake on my blog!
  • Next you will need to have two colors of buttercream (cake frostings) find the best recipe on my TikTok page!
  • IF you like a challenge, it is also possible to make a cake with fondant (sugar paste). The finish is really pretty, but it takes some technique! You can use store-bought fondant or try our homemade fondant recipe. I actually call it our edible marshmallow play dough because my kids love to play with it.
  • Finally, you will also need multicolored candies and a popsicle pattern. I made mine out of a simple sheet of paper.
