I grant you, the night is for sleeping. But it's much more fun when it's spent having fun with friends, under the tent, watching movies, tinkering, until late… Here are 5 ideas for organizing a pajama party.

The Invitation

We are abandoning virtual invitation models here and instead creating unique models that will set the tone for the evening. A suggestion? Night wolves decorated to reflect guests' unique personalities.

Crafts

To keep night owls busy, DIY is always a good idea. We keep the festive and nocturnal theme with a drawing workshop on pillowcases with fabric markers, a unique and playful dreamcatcher, or even the simple manufacture of tents with frames and pre-cut wooden dowels.

Snacks

To accompany the plethora of activities, food will be needed during the evening. To satisfy wise parents, we certainly think of the plates of raw vegetables and fruits that we place on a plate in the colors ofthe Rainbow. And for kids with a sweet tooth, well, we offer them donuts placed on a straw in an old-fashioned bottle of milk, or even a plate of mini chocolate chip cookies which is also served with a good glass of milk. Because who says pajama party, says glass of milk, right?

Dodo… finally

Young and old alike will eventually hit the nail on the head and that's when, well wrapped up in their sleeping bag or under a cozy duvet, they'll have sweet dreams under a starry sky. To achieve this magical atmosphere, we bring out our interior Christmas lights (which do not heat up). We come to place them above the tents of stretched sheets. Or, we can tinker with it, earlier in the evening. And there's nothing here that says some pillow fight won't happen! After all, it's good to let go of your fool again before falling into a deep sleep.

Lunch

Before saying goodbye to the little revelers, we prepare a last surprise for them with a good lunch. I like the idea of the cereal bar which is very simple to make and where children of all ages will be sure to find something to enjoy. If we feel like it, and we have enough energy, we go to the stove to prepare mountains of pancakes that they can season as they please with syrup, marmalade, yogurt and chocolate chips. For a unique presentation, identify the name of the childthe little jar of syrup that you tie with a pretty ribbon around your plate. This makes a place card that is as useful as it is pretty!

The only thing left to do is choose the movie to watch and/or the music to dance to to let off steam and create a pajama party they won't soon forget.
