This fall, Radio-Canada Information and the zone Jeunesse are launching MAJ (Mon actualité du jour), a new cross-platform information for 7-13 year olds. And we need the talent and creativity of your teens!

They are between 13 and 15 years old, curious and enthusiastic and interested in the world around them? Do they want to express themselves? This is an opportunity for them to become videojournalists on the Radio-Canada website and on social networks.

Supported by an editorial team, each budding journalist will be able to film and present their own report. This will allow him to sharpen his critical sense in the era of fake news and to perfect his knowledge on all kinds of subjects (politics, economy, environment, music, cinema, literature, astronomy, humor, cooking, school life…). In a secure environment, governed by Radio-Canada journalistic standards and practices, they will be able to develop their full potential while having fun.

registrations are open online. Just fill out the form and submit a two-minute video of your teen talking about asubject that affects him. Each application must be approved by the parent. A first wave of selection will be held during the summer of 2019.

To your cameras!
