Sometimes we like to give the kids a special lunch to start the weekend off right. Here are five ideas to ensure that your lunch has nothing to envy to restaurants.

Banana Sushi
Simple as pie, these bananas will make everything else in your lunch look special and only require three ingredients that you probably already have.
Slice bananas, roll them in peanut butter, Nutella, or any other spread of your choice. Then roll your bananas in cereal (Rice Krispies or Frosted Flakes, for example) or in coconut. Arrange them like sushi on a pretty plate and add chopsticks next to your dish to get the idea across.

Pancake Skewers
Almost every kid loves strawberries and almost every kid loves pancakes, so this duo should be a hit.
- Mix one cup of flour, one cup of milk and two eggs to make a basic pancake batter. You can add a little vanilla if you want.
- Whisk your mixture well and place small portions in a non-stick skillet or griddle toform the mini pancakes.
- Alternate strawberries, bananas and pancakes on skewers.
- Serve.

The Bears
These bears are a real hit with the kids. With the same recipe as for the skewers or using your own pancake batter recipe, make large pancakes trying to add ears and small pancakes that will make the muzzle. All that remains is to draw the mouth with chocolate syrup and add blueberry or banana eyes.
If you miss your shapes, no problem, cut out pieces of pancake and use them to make foxes, birds, wolves, rabbits… Follow your creative instincts!

Children's cafe
If your kids are used to looking at your coffee with envy, make them hot chocolate in the same cups as you and add heart-shaped or cloud-shaped marshmallows that you have cut with cookie cutters. They will be delighted!
To make the hot chocolate, heat (don't boil!):
- 4 cups of milk
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 tbsp cocoa
- 4 c. finely chopped semi-sweet chocolate

Surprising strawberries
By scooping out big ripe strawberries, filling them with Greek yogurt and sprinkling with cereal of your choice, you'll have the most delicious breakfast bites in the world, in addition to offering three groupsfood all of a sudden! To scoop strawberries easily, use a melon baller (melon spoons).
