Go to Market

Here is what you will need to make these cute little desserts:

  • Rice Krispies cereal
  • Marshmallows
  • Vanilla Essence
  • Butter
  • Soft candy (I personally used fruit snacks. You could also try dried fruit.)
  • Fruit Roll (Fruit-O-Long) or Licorice.

Make a marshmallow and cereal bar recipe

Time to make delicious Rice Krispie Squares. Follow the basic recipe (this is also, most of the time, behind the cereal box).

Spread some of the mixture

On waxed paper, spread some of the mixture. Place another sheet of waxed paper, and flatten the mixture with a rolling pin, to obtain a square of approximately 20 cm by 20 cm.

Spread the Candy

Then, spread the candies in a line on the square, then roll the preparation onherself. When the roll is well closed, place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Making nigiri

Meanwhile, with the remaining Rice Krispie preparation, make small blocks. Place a gumdrop on top, and unite the two with a piece of fruit roll to make little nigiri.

Cut the roll

We then cut the roll with a knife, so as to make 2 cm slices. Then wrap each of the slices with a piece of fruit roll.

There you go! That's it! You can place the candy sushi in sushi plates, and serve.
