This annual campaign aims to promote and congratulate parents across Quebec.

2020 and 2021… two challenging years for parents

Families have been affected by the pandemic in different ways. Whether it's juggling telecommuting and homeschooling or losing a job, this he alth crisis has brought its share of upheavals.

They showed exceptional resilience! That's why it's crucial to take the time to praise them for their courage and adaptability.

Support for all at all times

Although some local organizations were unable to offer in-person services during the pandemic, many were present, including the 280 Family community organizations across Quebec who welcomed parents and their strengths daily without judging them, their questions and their aspirations, and which helped them to carry out their role.

Committed partners

The Bravo Initiativeparents! is supported by a network of partners involved with Quebec families including, among others, the Association des h altes-garderies communautaire du Québec, the Association québécoise des CPE, the Fédération des committees de parents du Quebec, the Lucie and André Chagnon Foundation, the Olo Foundation, the Literacy Foundation, School Perseverance Days, LigneParents, Naître et manger, the Observatoire des tout-petits, the Regroupement pour la Valorisation de la Paternité et the Network for a Quebec Family.

Join the Bravo Parents Movement

The 2021 campaign wants to go beyond the "bravo" by creating a movement of collective solidarity and benevolence. The theme of the new campaign “At the heart of all these moments, it's you, it's us” recognizes the central role of the parent in the development of the child.

So you are all invited to join the movement today. Congratulate the successes and perseverance of a parent around you using the hashtag Bravolesparents on social networks. Many will say that it is the most beautiful profession in the world: to give life, to transmit its values and its principles. This of course comes with its share of doubts, fears, questionings, fatigue.

To highlight this parental reality, we will engage in a conversation with parents on social networks inviting them to use words and images to complete the sentence: “Being a parent is…”. Be a way for themto express their reality, to discuss among themselves, to confide and thus to feel less alone.
