He is on the doorstep, feverish and anxious, crushed by the weight of his huge backpack. Mom is there, proud, her heart pounding and her eyes misty, holding herself back with both hands so as not to smother her in her embrace. Then, he goes to kindergarten, without looking back… and it's mom who needs a big hug.

The impulse quietly deserts its behaviors. Over the months, he is more thoughtful and knows more and more what he wants. We are amazed to see him build his arguments and his theories. Of course, he asserts himself with his friends, but also with us. This new ability to defend his opinion comes with its share of quarrels and disagreements… He is the age of reason and he likes to be right! That doesn't stop us from loving her even more every day!

At 8 years old

At this age, our little darling discovers passions for sport, music or the arts. We cannot remain unmoved when we see him persevere and be so passionate about what he undertakes. And when he manages to play a perfect chord, or when he scores a goal, this spark which shines deep in his eyes literally makes us melt with love for him.

At 9 years old

More independent, more critical, he slowly moves away from the family cocoon and friends slowly start to take up a lot of space. While not so long ago he adored our kisses and the warmth of our arms, he is now more distant and more modest in the expressions of affection he distributes. So we respect his rhythm and we jump on all the opportunities where he iswilling to cuddle.
