Slowly, the traits of his personality are emerging. This is the time of the great conquests, when he wants to accomplish everything himself and dominate everything. Even U. S. And between two attempts to push back the limits imposed, he discovers the power of laughter. From little explorer to part-time clown, he knows how to capsize our hearts…
At 3 years old
What a pleasure to see life through the eyes of your three-year-old! He invents all kinds of eccentric explanations to understand what escapes him… to our greatest happiness. Impossible not to hug him as he sprinkles a discussion with his childish words or when he attempts a confident response.
At 4 years old
This last year, the one before entering school, is the year of autonomy. We can't close our eyes and pretend to ignore it, our baby is now a big one… or almost. If he likes to do his things alone and amaze us with his prowess, he is still very clingy and his great outbursts of affection always find a favorable echo in mom and dad.
At 5 years
He is on the doorstep, feverish and anxious, crushed by the weight of his huge backpack. Mom is there, proud, her heart pounding and her eyes misty, holding herself back with both hands so as not to smother her in her embrace. Then, he goes to kindergarten, without looking back… and it's mom who needs a big hug.
At 6 years old
Its small index follows the words lined up single file onthe pages of the book. Tonight, he's the reading to the whole family. While he strives to put emotion in his voice, the one that invades us pushes us to give him a caress. Suddenly, we find him sooo big.
At 7 years old
The impulse quietly deserts its behaviors. Over the months, he is more thoughtful and knows more and more what he wants. We are amazed to see him build his arguments and his theories. Of course, he asserts himself with his friends, but also with us. This new ability to defend his opinion comes with its share of quarrels and disagreements… He is the age of reason and he likes to be right! That doesn't stop us from loving her even more every day!
At 8 years old
At this age, our little darling discovers passions for sport, music or the arts. We cannot remain unmoved when we see him persevere and be so passionate about what he undertakes. And when he manages to play a perfect chord, or when he scores a goal, this spark which shines deep in his eyes literally makes us melt with love for him.
At 9 years old
More independent, more critical, he slowly moves away from the family cocoon and friends slowly start to take up a lot of space. While not so long ago he adored our kisses and the warmth of our arms, he is now more distant and more modest in the expressions of affection he distributes. So we respect his rhythm and we jump on all the opportunities where he iswilling to cuddle.
