On the occasion of office parties or a family reunion that requires us to entertain all these beautiful people, we need ideas for fun group games. Here are 12!

The Human Machine
Customer
10+
Procedure
- Teams of 4 or 5 people must be formed. A point guard must be appointed.
- We send a first player up front. It must constitute a sequence made up of a gesture and a noise. Example: He swings his arms back and forth while saying Cric Crac Croc.
- Seconds later, a player from the same team joins him and creates a new sequence (Bam Bim Boom while jumping - Tic Tac Toe while walking - Big Fat Big while bending over, etc.)
- Then the third and the fourth player. It becomes a well-honed human machine… The leader of the game puts pressure… FASTER! HARDER!
- The winning team will be the one that lasts the longest without errors.

Soulmates
Customer

- A hat or a bowl to put the papers ininside
Procedure
- On the small papers, we write the names of famous couples.
- A player draws a paper on which is written the name of a couple (ex.: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie). He must then imitate (without saying who it is) one of the two spouses.
- The others must then compete in speed to find the one represented.
- The winner is the first to name the soul mate (spouse) of the person being imitated.
- If the player does not know how to mimic the character he has drawn, he can buy the services of a consultant in exchange for his colored card.
- Anyone who has obtained 3 consultant color cards can no longer play.

Gift-Thief
Customer
For all, to be adapted according to age
Material
- 2 decks of cards, without Jokers.
- Gifts: Each of your guests brings an object wrapped in newspaper, without ribbon or bow. Just paper, like flyers or the Hebdo. Here we mean any useful and functional object! Salvage: whether it's a kettle, a frame, a lamp… it doesn't matter.
- A group could also bring a gift of their choice if they don't want to bring a salvaged object. With others, it can also turn into a $1, $2, or $5 gift. With children, having them do a toy swap could be a great way to share. You can also put a blue ribbon for men, red for women and green for children, if everyone plays together.
Procedure
- Guests put all the gifts in the center of the room andsit around.
- Shuffle the 1st deck of cards.
- You deal several cards to each person going around the room until there are no more cards left. Don't forget to give yourself some cards too!
- You take the 2nd deck of cards, also well shuffled, and you draw a card.
- The person who has this card has the right to draw a gift from the center of the room.
- You take the card and place it aside.
- You draw a second card: this person can steal the gift from the hands of a person who already has one, or draw one in the center, at their choice.
- The person whose gift is stolen goes to the center to choose a new one.
- You collect the card, place it aside and continue… At the end only, everyone unwraps their present…surprise!
- In the case of the "recovery" category, a person can pick up the unwanted items at the end of the evening and take them to a place like the Salvation Army.

Name a personality
Customer
7 to 77
Procedure
We stand in a circle. Alternately, going clockwise, each participant names a well-known personality (known by at least one other player). The next participant nominates someone whose first name begins with the first letter of the last name named previously. And so on. When a player spells a name whose first name AND last name begin with the same letter, change tack (counterclockwise). If the player takes more than 15 seconds to answer, he is eliminated. You cannot name the same personality twice. The winner is the one left alone at the end.
Example
The first player names Isabelle Boulay. The second, Britney Spears. The 3rd player appoints Steven Spielberg: as the first name and surname both begin with an S, we change sides and continue. We immediately return to the player who named Britney Spears. He appoints Sacha Distel. So on…

An Example
“This is the story of a family that leaves the countryside to celebrate Christmas in Montreal on December 24th. There is grandma Germaine, grandpa Roger, their 3 sons Claude, Jean and Marcel accompanied by their wife, Ginette, Gertrude and Gisèle. Their 6 grandchildren (4 girls and 2 boys) aged between 16 and 2 years old. They take 3 cars and follow each other. Claude drives the family valve and with his GPS guides the troops behind, his brother Jean's car and Marcel's truck. The storm rises and towards exit 29 of Highway 10, Claude skids andtakes the field, Jean and Marcel pass him and they almost hit the deer that passes by. Fortunately Marcel's On Star system detects the accident and the police are dispatched to the scene. Everyone is safe and sound, more fear than harm… Grandpa is a little upset, but they end up going to Montreal, in the Rosemont district where great-aunt Joséphine is waiting for them with the turkey, the stuffing and the Christmas log! Phew! They had a narrow escape! »
- We call a first person from the next room
- The gamemaster tells him the story once. This person must therefore, from memory, tell the story to the 2nd person who joins them a few minutes later.
- We invite the 3rd person to enter and this 2nd person tells him what he understood from the story and so on until the end.
You will understand that with a little wine, and all these details, the rumor of the story takes on another aspect. To the creatives, invent the story of your choice!
