This quote is the one my mother put on the wall of her sewing room at home, in Gaspésie. This quote has been there for a long time, I remember as a teenager, it was already there. I did not understand that my mother wanted to be like me by the way! I understood this much later when I became a mother myself.
Today, I am moved as I write this tribute. Although I am far from her physically because I am in Montreal and she in Gaspésie, I still feel very close to her. Sometimes we connect at the same time on Skype to talk to each other, a sign that we are really connected!
Today I decided to pay tribute to you, mom! As you know, this is a special day for me because as I write theselines, I am in Bali at the top of NLP Coaches to co-create the 4egeneration. You have always encouraged me. Even at 52, although I was leaving the wonderful world of advertising to completely change careers, you were always there for me, telling me that I was good and that you were proud of my decision.

Inspiration
My mother is my role model. He is a person who inspires me, to whom I refer when I have a decision to make or when I do not know how to manage an emotion or a doubt. She is inspiring, authentic and welcomes life as it comes. What fascinates me is how confident she is in life. When I need her opinion, she tells me: “The answer to your question will come my daughter, she is inside you! »
Mom, today I want to tell you how impressed I am with the trustthat you have always shown me and the education that I have received from you; an education in love, without judgement. You never doubted me. You have no expectations, you are observing, trusting and open. What I tell you always interests you.
As an example, my mother never gives orders; she suggests. She never finds that what I do should be done otherwise; on the contrary, she says that if what I feel is the right thing, it is and anyway, no matter what, it will bring me one more experience in life.
Even today she could blame me for not goingoften see them in Gaspésie but no, she rather uses the approach of encouraging the positive. So when I'm in the Gaspé with her and dad, she tells me how lucky she is to have me close to her. Try this with your children. Don't reproveand say thank you when they do something good! I would like to talk to all the moms in the world and give them your advice, mom. That of trusting their children. This confidence that I received from you gave me the strength to always dare and take risks, to go for it, to be myself as often as possible, to launch Les Spirituelles, to take care of the women of the Chaînon, to change careers, to love myself and dare to say it, to find meaning in my life and to find myself here for inner renewal. I always knew that I could do a lot of things and above all be who I am.
Your thing, mom, is that your confidence gives me confidence! Today, I try to give this same resource back to the children and to my lover. It's not always easy and you're the first to tell me: trust, life will guide us!
