For March Break, from March 4 to 11, the McCord Museum offers activities for the whole family. He invites you to visit, for one last time, his exhibition of toys Tohu-bohu au pays des contes. Free for children 12 and under.

Classic Tales Revisited
It's your last chance to (re)dive into the magical world of children's stories! The exhibition Tohu-Bohu au pays des contes, at the McCord Museum until March 18, 2018, presents in a fun way five classic tales that have marked and continue to charm generations of children: Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, Jacques and the Beanstalk, The Little Mermaid and Cinderella.
In addition to going in search of the elements moved by the Carabosse fairy, children are invited to dress up and take part in many games, all along the route: bowling, memory, blocks and a workshop on bird or scent identification, to name a few.

Activities to delight you during spring break
During Spring Break, the McCord Museum offers fun activities for the whole family. Here are a few:
Storytime
Daily, at 11:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. (in French) and at 11:45 a.m., 1:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. (in English).
Classic tales are revisited and mixed together, to echo the exhibition. Children's participation is requested to put everything in order!
The creative workshop
Everyday, continuously, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Music, freedom, humor and originality are on the agenda in this selection of short films for children.

Snowballs and Chocolate Movie Day
Sunday, March 11 at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
The classic The War of the Toques (1984), which captured the imagination of many children (now parents!), is presented on the big screen at the Museum, during a day to celebrate winter because "The war, war is not a reason to get hurt”. Fasten your toques!
