Finally, some light at the end of the tunnel. Small outdoor gatherings are now permitted. Here are 5 outdoor activities to do with friends that allow you to respect the rules of social distancing.

Butterfly and bug hunting
Children who don't spend much time in the countryside don't like meeting insects very much. To reconcile them with nature, hunting insects and butterflies with a net is famous. They will have plenty of time to observe them without being afraid when the insects are in a glass jar. On your side, you will have a good activity that will not cost much.
Kite
Do you know that you can make a kite with just a plastic bag, straws, dental floss, pencil and tape? There is a fairly simple tutorial on Youtube that will show you how. Once you know how, you can replicate the experience almost anywhere. This will be both a craft and a game that should keep the kids busy for quite a while and will cost next to nothing.
Permanent hopscotch
For less than $20,you can find the tiles, paint and small rollers that will allow you to make this beautiful colorful hopscotch game. It will look really nice in your yard and kids love the little paths we make for them.
Hiking
Hiking keeps us active, allows us to reconnect with nature and see landscapes from another angle. There is also an educational side to hiking with children: you can teach them more about animals and plants directly in their habitat, which makes the experience much more interesting for them!
Frisbee
Show them how to play frisbee. Getting good at Frisbee takes time and the more you play it, the more you enjoy throwing it from afar with obstacles. It's when they've mastered the technique that they'll really enjoy playing it. Sooner or later, they might want to play ultimate frisbee with friends. It is an activity that is constantly gaining new followers.
